SACRED LOVE | WATER. REFLECTIONS. MYTHS

This exhibition features 35 artworks made in India in 2019-2021 by a Russian-born painter Inessa Garder. We thought we are in control and tried to do it all. Lost in the endless race of desiring, doing, achieving. Were you happy that way? Was it true? Now so many people are turning towards the gifts that they did not ask for. We start noticing the luxuries lavished upon our souls daily. In this series I learn to acknowledge and accept these simple, great gifts offered by sacred love. I had been locked down in India for the indefinite time, diving into Rabindranath Tagore lyrics, learning yoga and meditation, swimming in the Ganges, riding through the jungle on a motorbike... I worship the abundance of this life. In paintings. And I'd like to share it with you.
