Suhas is a passionate sarod player with wonderful aesthetic sensibility. He is an avid student of Indian Classical Music and this beautiful string instrument. His past gurus include the late Shri Kaustav Roy, a senior disciple of Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta - and then the late Shri Bidyut Khan who was the elder son of Ustad Bahadur Khan. Hence, his music is influenced by both the Maihar and the Senia-Shahjehanpur gharanas. Currently under the experienced guidance of Pandit Sanjoy Bandopadhyay, Suhas is blossoming into a highly accomplished sarod player.

Gurdain started learning the tabla at the age of 3 from his father Harkirat Rayatt and grandfather Gurmit Singh Virdee. Gurdain has been trained as a disciple of late tabla maestro Pandit Shankar Ghosh for over a decade and has performed internationally at various festivals. He has accompanied high profile musicians and dancers including Pdt Birju Maharaj, Ustad Nishat Khan, Niladri Kumar, Purbayan Chatterjee, Kala Ramnath, Prattyush Banerjee, Shashwati Mandal and more. He is an accomplished soloist and teacher based in London, UK and frequently collaborates with other musicians of world music and fusion bands.
