Exhibition: Brushstrokes Across Time: Indian Miniature Art and the Siyah Qalam Legacy

Sangeeta Singh is an experienced artist with a demonstrated history of working in the fine art industry for over three decades. Over the years, she has diligently worked on developing her skills in both traditional and contemporary techniques. To further her expertise, she has studied the techniques of Flemish Art, Icon Painting, Pastels, and Egg Tempera at the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in London. Additionally, she has delved into Classical Naturalism with Ted Seth Jacobs and Studio Escalier in France, among other courses.

Recently, Sangeeta completed her MA degree in Traditional Arts from the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in London. She is passionate about preserving and carrying forward ancient methods. Her specialties include Siyahi Qalam (pen and ink), Indian and Persian miniatures, oil painting, charcoal, pastels, gilding, and egg tempera on gesso panels. She has participated in several exhibitions around the world.
