This Bharatanatyam recital beautifully encapsulates the life and divine leelas of Lord Krishna, portraying his playful spirit and enchanting melodies. The performance opens with an invocatory piece that pays homage to Lord Ganesh, seeking blessings for the journey ahead. Following this, the dancer transitions into a vibrant portrayal of Krishna’s childhood antics and heroic leelas through a “Margam” symbolising his mischievous self with mother Yashoda and his alluring love with Radha and the gopikas. This recital ends with Thillana which celebrates Lord Narayana as the ultimate ruler.
