The Vaishnava aims to promote and popularise Sattriya dance form and in it the prayers on Lord Vishnu and its related literature.
Sattriya dance was borne out of the Vaishnavite movement in the Northeastern India shaping its present socio-cultural setting. Sattriya is the only living art form of India, it is a distinct and unique dance form, the stories of which should be told and depicted.
