This exhibition is a celebration of India’s diverse tribal artistry and cultural heritage, showcasing an extensive collection of traditional crafts. Visitors will experience an array of art forms, including Bengal Pattachitra, Bhil Painting, Baiga Painting, Cheriyal Painting, Godna Art, Gond Painting, Hazaribagh Painting, Jogi Painting, Kalamkari Painting, Kalighat Painting, Kangra Painting, Leather Puppets, Madhubani Painting, Matani Pachedi, Odisha Pattachitra, Phad Painting, Pichvai Painting, Sanjhi Painting, Santhal (Chaksudan) Painting, Saura Painting, Warli Painting, Wooden Masks, and Wooden Sculptures. Each piece reflects the deep-rooted traditions, beliefs, and unique artistic expressions of India’s tribal communities, preserved and passed down through generations. Visitors will be transported into the rich cultural fabric of India, discovering the stories and craftsmanship that define its tribal heritage.

Nehmat Mongia is a visionary artist and designer with a master’s degree in Ceramic and Glass Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Her innovative approach has been recognized globally, with accolades including the Ford Foundation Scholarship, Ministry of Culture scholarships, and the prestigious BFA Final Year Award. With works showcased in international galleries, Mongia brings her expertise and passion for design to curate an exhibition that bridges tradition and modernity, offering an unforgettable exploration of India’s tribal artistry.
