This exhibition explores the transformative journey of Indian architecture over the past fifty years, reflecting the nation's post-independence struggles and aspirations.

Highlighting the work of CP Kukreja Architects, established in 1969, the exhibition delves into the firm's influential role in reshaping India's architectural identity. Through a curated selection of concept notes, sketches, images, and drawings, visitors will witness India's architectural evolution, from the modernist buildings of the 1970s and 80s to the innovative, sustainable designs of today.

The exhibition challenges the Western view of Indian architecture as being confined to historic forts and palaces, showcasing the dynamic and diverse architectural landscape that has emerged in the post-liberalization era. By offering insights into how architecture has contributed to redefining India’s identity, the exhibition presents a narrative of resilience, creativity, and progress in the face of the nation's complex post-independence challenges.
