His talent was globally recognized in 1991 when he became the first Indian to win the "Special Award of the Jury" at the FISM 18th World Magicians Convention in Switzerland.
Shankar Junior has not only broken barriers by showcasing Indian magic on the international stage but has also used his performances to raise awareness on social issues, employing magic as a medium for enlightenment and national integration. With a master’s degree in computer applications, he is based in Udupi, Karnataka.
