The program features a diverse selection of Hindustani classical and light music genres, including "chota khayal," "Thumri," and "Ghazal," all rooted in the raga tradition. In addition to these classical forms, the performance will include folk music and regional language songs such as Rabindra Sangeet and Palligeeti.

Kakoli Mukherjee is an accomplished artist with extensive experience. She completed a five-year course (“Visharad”) from Bhatkhande College of Music, Lucknow, and trained under Pandit Motilal Bhatt, a renowned sarangi player. Mrs. Mukherjee has performed on Delhi Doordarshan and All India Radio (Lucknow, Delhi, and Calcutta).

She is currently residing in Sydney, she runs the Bharatiya Sangeet Academy, affiliated with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, where she teaches Hindustani music. Besides her musical career, she holds a Master of Arts in English and teaches at a Government School in Sydney. Over the past 20 years, she has performed in New Zealand, Australia, India, Dubai, and Mauritius. Kakoli also composes ghazals and bhajans, has released several albums, and organizes performances for her students, providing them with valuable stage experience.
