Veer Bal Diwas – Documentary Screening

At Nehru Centre London, we will be screening a documentary by Punjabi Sahitya Academy, MP Culture council, Government of Madhya Pradesh on 27th December at 5 pm to honour Veer Baal Diwas. 26th December 2022 is declared as Veer Bal Divas to pay tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices made by the family of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji, while walking on the path of justice and pay homage to the courage of 'sahibzade 'sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the 1Oth Guru of Sikhs.

Established in 2013, Punjabi Sahitya Academy Madhya Pradesh provides an opportunity to the cross-section of society and particularly Punjabi Writers, Scholars, and cultural experts to interact for the improvement of the Punjabi language, literature, and culture. While maintaining its leading role in the promotion and preservation of Punjabi culture, the Academy has assumed basic responsibility for the development of the Punjabi language in Madhya Pradesh at the grass root level. The academy organizes programs, festivals of Punjab, saints and gurus teachings every month in various districts with the involvement of the community of the state, publication translation of books exhibitions in Punjabi Language, Awards, and Research Museum in Madhya Pradesh are ongoing projects.
